Jasmin has worked in the fields of entrepreneur, innovation, technology, consulting and finance. She has taught and coached many participants and students in these fields.

Background

I have facilitating innovation and entrepreneurship for over 6 years. During this time, I have taught and coached many companies and startups innovation, in addition to 2000+ students’ entrepreneurship at the University of Western Australia. I have also worked in innovation consulting with a Norwegian company, Xynteo, working with top executives from global companies to generate solutions to the world’s biggest problems like climate change and workforce automation.

During my career, I have been involved in a handful of startups, from genetic testing for melanoma risk to SaaS for mining communication. My current startup is democratising hyperbaric oxygen therapy to help more people with chronic illness have access to treatment. I’m interested in solving problems in the health and education sector, with a lot of my startups being in the health space. I have also worked in corporate venture capital at Navitas Ventures with a focus in investing in innovative education companies with a mission to transform how the world learns. I have been able to learn from the best, being a graduate of Perth’s leading accelerator program Plus Eight, Australia’s CSIRO’s ON Accelerator, and the Founder Institute, an accelerator program based out of Silicon Valley.

My why

I have a huge passion for innovation and technology and have been heavily involved in the startup ecosystem in Perth, Edinburgh and London. One of my life’s purposes is to help and inspire participants to create innovative ventures for themselves, or within their existing companies. It’s amazing to see the excitement that participants get from learning innovation and having the power to improve their organisation.

What I love

Going for long walks with a good audiobook. Increasing my ever-growing book library at home. Expanding my mind with the new technology and developments that are happening in our world every day.
