About Ricky Grace
Ricky is best known as the captain and star point guard for the Perth Wildcats professional basketball team for over 14 years. He is still known for his quickness, intelligence and fair play. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree and an MBA.
Ricky provides motivational talks and team-building sessions for many private and public organisations in which he covers the five key lessons he has learned about leadership and teamwork and how they apply to teams in organisations. He is an interesting and entertaining speaker who provides insight into how to be effective team members and exceptional performers in a way that builds outstanding team success.
Ricky is a director of the Clontarf Girls Trust which helps educate and develop Aboriginal girls, especially through their involvement and participation in sports. He also runs an organisation that conducts programs for remote Aboriginal communities putting young Aboriginals into contact with successful Western Australian athletes. A number of these programs have been sponsored by Western Australian companies.
Ricky's coaching style draws on his extensive experience with individuals working as a team. He coaches individuals to improve their teamwork as well as their individual skills so they can achieve 'championship' performance.
