About Lynda Folan

Lynda is a senior consultant with Integral Development who holds a BA Honours, Masters in Organisational Psychology and is presently completing her Doctorate in Organisational Psychology (Leadership) at Murdoch University.

She has a successful track record of strategically developing and managing International Human Resource functions coupled with a broad range of consultancy experience and extensive experience in Leadership Development, Organisational Development, Team Evolution, Coaching and Strategic Facilitation.

Lynda has held international executive level Human Resources positions with: The Number (International Telecoms Company employing over 10,000 employees), Arcadian International Hotel Group (A subsidiary of Wyndam International), The Hard Rock Café International, Hasbro International (Toy company) and Tesco Stores Ltd (British Retail group with over 150,000 employees). Her areas of corporate experts and major achievements lie in Organisational Development, Change Management and Leadership Development.

Alongside her corporate experience Lynda also set up and ran her own management consultancy based in Europe. In this capacity she had responsibility for a range of projects within both the pubic and private sectors, including; Developing and running a management and Leadership program for a large public sector organisation, Assisting with the creation and facilitation of the ‘Toyota Way’ change program, An Organizational Development project for a major Financial institutions to define people changes which supported a £70 million IT investment project, Facilitation of the Strategic Planning process for one of the largest international retail organisations, Culture change programs for a number of organisations and provision of executive coaching to a broad range of Senior Executives to enhance their business and personal performance.

Lynda’s ability to coach and develop individuals, teams and leaders to reach their highest potential is combined with a strong theoretical knowledge of the psychology of people and the Organisations they work in. She has researched, developed and run highly successful programs in the following areas; Strategic Leadership, Strategic Planning, Team Evolution, Cultural change, Facilitation for Change and Influencing for Change. She is accredited to utilise Myers Briggs, Firo B, 16 PF and a range of other Psychometric tools. She is also a Neuro Linguistic trainer and a trained facilitator of the Seven habits of Highly effective peoples.

Lynda was born and brought up in Africa, then lived in Belgium for a short time before spending 17 years in the United Kingdom and then finally moving to Australia in 2007. Lynda passion for exploration has resulted in her travelling to some 85 different countries spread across all 7 continents and having the opportunity to traverse some of the most remote parts of the world. Her extensive travels have allowed her to experience firsthand a wide range of spiritual practices, including; many of the Eastern religions, Hawaiian Huna, Tai chi, Yoga and a variety of Meditational systems. She has practiced Transcendental Meditation for over 7 years and has a strong belief that this plays a part in her clarity of thought as well as her ability to facilitate change in organizations that is lasting and aligned with holistic principles.
