About Jon Bilson
Jon is a registered psychologist and experienced facilitator and trainer with significant experience in organisational psychology and development. With a background in human resource management, business strategy and organisational development, Jon has worked as a management consultant for over twelve years with a wide range of public and private sector clients. Drawing on his experience as a corporate psychologist, coach and business consultant, Jon has assisted clients to effect long-term cultural change through developing strategy and people within their organisations. Jon has also held senior executive positions with a number of large organisations in Australia.
Jon holds an MBA from Curtin University, a Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Edith Cowan University, and is a registered psychologist.
Jon works extensively in the area of people-based consulting, incorporating leadership, change management, organisational reviews, development and design and assisting individuals and teams to manage the effects of significant change within their workplace utilising a variety of coaching and development strategies, tools and techniques. This work has required considerable consultation with boards, chief executives, management and staff in a wide range of industries including State and Commonwealth Government, Health, Banking and Finance, Mining and Energy, Manufacturing, Retail and Information Technology.
Some of Jon's recent consulting work includes a review of the Employer Relationship Management Team in a state government organisation; development of a change management strategy for a large entertainment organisation to address a recent takeover; an extensive review of a major division within a national health services provider and subsequent change management recommendations; and provision of change management training for internal consultants within a global manufacturer.
