About Gerard Bruitzman
Gerard Bruitzman is an integral visioning consultant.
Originally inspired by Ken Wilber's full spectrum psychology and more recently his integral AQAL theory, Gerry has studied for over thirty years the original sources, developmental phases, many implications, various trajectories, and emerging applications of Wilber's work. Continuing his integral studies, Gerry is exploring many fields of inquiry and practice including the world's wisdom and compassion traditions, adult development, developmental psychology, integral psychotherapy, conscious capitalism, multi-stakeholder sustainability, transdisciplinary studies, and futures studies.
Gerry is a member of various integral groups in Australia, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and USA, keeping his finger on the pulse of integral activities worldwide. In addition to supporting meetings, workshops, and the projects of colleagues in Melbourne integral circles, he is involved in advocating for the use of integral concepts, perspectives and applications in the development of environmental and climate change policies at Frankston City Council.
Gerry is especially interested in working with visionary activists, who develop more conscious and compassionate nature-human-divine and self-other interconnectivity and integration, and well nuanced solutions in the contexts of developmental theories to the psycho-socio-cultural wars between traditional conformists, modern rationalists, and postmodern progressives that permeate human affairs.
Gerry holds a Master of Management (Strategic Foresight) from Swinburne University and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) (Honours) from Deakin University.
