About Erika Jacobson

Erika Jacobson has helped government, non-government and corporate clients throughout Western Australia and throughout Australia to become more innovative, improve communication, leadership, team-dynamics and to resolve conflict.  Erika uses applied theatre and other creative tools, to create experiences that enable groups to tackle difficult and persistent issues through interactive and creative activities.

Erika holds a BA in Writing, a Masters in International and Community Development and is doing her PhD at Murdoch University where her research  examines the qualities needed to transform people to be more authentic and make a genuine contribution to their work.

Erika is a dynamic educator, facilitator and trainer experienced in helping individuals, teams, organisations and communities engage, innovate and develop. She uses innovative arts-based approaches which involve the whole person, physically, mentally and emotionally, in learning and is highly skilled in engaging people in these activities and applying them to their workplace.

Some of the clients Erika has worked with include Aurecon, the Department for Child Protection, City of Swan, WALGA, City of Stirling, the Department for Corrective Services, Kinway, Relationships Australia, Communicare, as well as Aboriginal Corporations and communities throughout Western Australia.

Erika has over 12 years’ international experience and brings a cultural sensitivity and awareness to her approach. She currently lectures at Edith Cowan University in Creative Thinking.
