About Andrew's Approach

Andrew's approach to developing leadership capacity draws from the fields of systems thinking, cognitive behavioural psychology, foresight thinking, developmental psychology and integral philosophy. Through this study and his own experiences at embedding leadership cultures, the following core themes drive his approach:

Developing a leadership culture starts with deepening personal insight - we can only lead our people and our markets to the extent that we can lead ourselves

There is a developmental pathway that individuals, teams and organisations will travel; the pathway needs to be traversed one phase at a time, in order for cultural change to take effect

We work in human systems; dialogue is essential to create commonality of understanding and shared experience in order to create an effective culture

We cannot solve tomorrow's problems by simply applying yesterday's thinking; to adapt to our evolving world, we need to continue to build on our current thinking through a combination of being present to what is emerging now, and open to future possibilities
