Integral Development: A Comprehensive Approach for the 21st Century

We provide a lot of leadership development programs both on and off of our Perth campus. Although we offer a wide range of courses, every one is based on the same concepts: integral development and the furthering of integral theory.

While integral theory represents a simplified approach for those seeking growth, it is based on the greatest insights and original ideas from virtually every field of human knowledge. Integral theory amalgamates inspiration from arts and humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences to create a holistic theory that forever transforms those who embrace it.

At this juncture in history, integral theory is a vital element of more than 35 professional and academic fields, such as law, psychotherapy, organisational management, healthcare, ecology, art, congregational ministry, and economics.

Integral theory has spawned its own methodology for transpersonal psychology: Integral Life Practice (ILP). ILP was created to allow each individual to facilitate personal transformation through the systematic exploration of seemingly-divergent aspects of the self, such as cognitive awareness, emotional intelligence, the physical body, spiritual wisdom, and interpersonal relationships, resulting in development of the whole person.

Mechanically, integral theory uses more reality as empirical data, and interrelates that data more completely than any approach, past or present, that has been applied to assessing problems and creating solutions. This has led most observers to believe that integral theory holds more promise for helping leaders solve the myriad and complex problems of the 21st century.

Both organisations and individuals can utilise integral theory as a paradigm that is appropriate to any context, and can be utilised effectively at virtually any scale. Because integral theory amalgamates so many divergent techniques and approaches to analysing problems and acting upon them, the user is better able to select the most relevant solutions from a virtual clearinghouse of insights, techniques, and tools from the sum of humanity’s advances in the field of thought.

Integral theory is used on a smaller scale, such as one on one psychotherapy, to the large scale, such as the “Leadership for Results” program sponsored by the United Nations and practised in more than thirty countries.
