Integral Institute Purpose

To conduct world class research and provide integral corporate transformation services that develops leadership and people and improve organisational capability.

Integral Institute Vision

The Integral Institute is a community of people (consultants and staff) dedicated to creating and developing services and products based on the Integral model and supported by quality research. The Institute will encourage those involved to develop, adopt and challenge Integral Theory in order for it to be of considerable use for individuals, teams and organisations.

The Institute will offer leadership and organisation development programs that are a catalyst for positive change in organisations.

Background

The Integral Institute (Australia) is a not-for-profit organisation that was founded in 2005. The Integral Institute was initiated to focus on the research, development and transformation of leadership and organisations, with an emphasis on helping organisations and individuals work in an integrated and holistic way that is commercially successful and makes a contribution to the needs of their customers, staff, the community and the environment.

The Integral Institute seeks to help individuals, teams, leaders and organisations become long-term sustainable and socially responsible using the Integral framework. The common approach running through all Integral work is that personal transformation is the foundation of leadership and organisational improvement. The Integral framework also encompasses an "all-quadrant, all-level" approach which means that all dimensions of business: vision, strategic, people, performance, finance, culture, community and environment are included, as well as a developmental process in which people, leaders and teams evolve to higher levels of world view and consciousness.

INTEGRAL INSTITUTE SERVICES

The following are the services the Integral Institute will offer over the next three years:

Research

Research in 2008 will focus primarily on determining effective Integral leadership, and studying examples of Integral organisations and Integral teamwork. This research will be used to produce books, videos and training materials.

Public Programs

The Integral Institute will provide a suite of public programs, providing education and training on personal, leadership and organisational development, drawing on the latest and best in academic thinking.

Books, Articles and Training Materials

The Integral Institute will produce a range of journal articles and books related to Integral leadership and personal development. It will also develop and publish training materials related to course material.

Future Activities

The following activities will be conducted when resources and funding allow:

• Members' forums
• Special interest groups
• Website facilities through papers, articles, interviews
• Conferences
